South Beach Chamber Ensemble (SBCE) continues the 2008-2009 season with the world premiere of Boston composer Pamela Marshall’s Quinteto sobre los poemas de Carlos Pintado and Hermann Goetz’s Piano Quintet in C minor, Op. 16.
The South Beach Up North chamber music festival will launch their second season with two free events the weekend of June 23-24, 2007 in Wausau, Wisconsin. The first concert, featuring the Arriaga String Quartet #3 and the Dvorak String Quintet, will be at the Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau on Saturday, June 23 at 6 PM.
Cultural exchange project includes concerts and educational activities in Rio de Janeiro (August 25-26, 2005) and Miami (Sept. 11-18, 2005)
(MIAMI) – South Beach Chamber Ensemble (SBCE) launches a cultural exchange between the dynamic cities of Rio de Janeiro and Miami that includes public concerts in both cities (plus Miami Beach), school concerts, a lecture by Brazil’s heir to Villa-Lobos, and a celebratory reception at Britto Central on Lincoln Road. “Music In Motion: Miami To Rio” is the second in a series of international cultural exchange projects that SBCE is undertaking.
